The IPL System releases yellow/green light that destroys the bacteria living in the skin which causes acne. The red light directly targets the overactive sebaceous glands which cause pustules.The sebaceous glands shrink and this prevents over production of excess sebum.

The area may become red after treatment but this will disappear after a couple of hours.
